How the LuxLoveLouis® 8-Week Payment Plan Works
1. Initial Down Payment:
Begin your purchase by paying a non-refundable down payment of 35% of your total purchase amount. This secures your selected items and marks them exclusively as sold to you, ensuring they are no longer available to other customers.
2. Multiple Items:
Our payment plan is designed for convenience, allowing you to include multiple luxury items in a single payment plan. This makes expanding or starting your luxury collection even easier.
3. 8-Week Duration:
You have up to 8 weeks from the initiation date to complete your payment. This flexible timeframe provides you ample opportunity to comfortably manage your payments.
4. Early Payoff Option:
If you wish to complete your payments earlier, you can pay off the balance at any time within the 8-week period. Once the final payment is received, your items will be processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, ensuring prompt delivery.
5. Review Terms and Conditions:
Prior to selecting a payment plan, customers are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review LuxLoveLouis’s complete Terms and Conditions. Understanding all terms, including payment obligations and liabilities, ensures a clear, informed purchasing experience.
6. Consequences of Non-Payment:
Failure to complete your payment within the agreed 8-week term will result in immediate forfeiture of your secured items and any payments made toward those items. Adherence to the agreed-upon payment schedule is essential to avoid loss of items and payments already made.
Payment Plan Structure and Customer Responsibilities
LuxLoveLouis® LLC ("LuxLoveLouis," "we," "us," or "our") provides an 8-week flexible payment plan (the "Payment Plan") to enhance accessibility for customers purchasing luxury goods. By initiating and agreeing to this Payment Plan, the customer ("you" or "your") explicitly acknowledges acceptance of all terms outlined herein and those detailed in the comprehensive Terms and Conditions available on our website.
Initial Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit equal to 35% of the total purchase price is required immediately upon initiating your Payment Plan. This payment secures the item(s) and marks them exclusively as sold to you, preventing further sale or marketing to other customers. By making this deposit, you acknowledge and accept that this amount will not be refunded under any circumstances, regardless of your future decisions or ability to fulfill subsequent payments.
Flexible Payment Terms
Following the initial deposit, the outstanding balance may be paid at your discretion over the 8-week duration. LuxLoveLouis provides this flexibility to help you conveniently manage your finances. You may pay any amount, at any frequency, provided the total balance is cleared by the designated Payment Plan expiration date.
8-Week Payment Period and Final Due Date
You are obligated to pay the entire remaining balance of your order within an 8-week period from the date your Payment Plan commences. LuxLoveLouis will clearly communicate this final payment due date upon initiation of your Payment Plan. Failure to meet this obligation will activate specific procedures outlined below in "Late Payments and Grace Period."
Early Payoff Option
You may, at your discretion, fully satisfy the outstanding balance of your Payment Plan at any time before the expiration of the 8-week duration without penalty. Upon receipt of full payment, LuxLoveLouis will process your order promptly, typically within 1-3 business days, ensuring swift and secure delivery.
Customer Communication and Accountability
Customers are required to maintain proactive and transparent communication regarding any circumstances that may affect their ability to make timely payments. LuxLoveLouis encourages prompt notification of any financial constraints or unexpected issues to prevent forfeiture of secured items and associated financial losses.
Acceptance of Item Conditions
By entering this Payment Plan, you explicitly confirm satisfaction and acceptance of item conditions as presented at the time of purchase or during live sales or story events. It is your responsibility to request additional information, detailed images, or further clarifications prior to committing to the purchase. Verbal agreements, stating "sold," or winning a bid constitute legally binding acceptance of the item’s condition.
Non-Purchase Administrative Fee
Should you fail to complete payment after verbally committing to purchase or winning a bid during live sales or stories, LuxLoveLouis will impose a non-purchase administrative fee of $100. This fee covers administrative expenses, remarketing, restocking, and lost sales opportunities. Payment of this fee is required before you are eligible to participate in future sales and bidding activities.
Late Payments and Grace Period
Customers are required to complete the full outstanding balance by the end of the 8-week payment plan term. LuxLoveLouis provides a three-day grace period immediately following the expiration date. If payment is not completed within the original 8-week duration, customers have exactly three calendar days from the original due date to pay the remaining balance without incurring additional fees.
Failure to pay the remaining balance within this three-day grace period—without proactive communication and prior explicit approval from LuxLoveLouis—will result in immediate forfeiture of the item(s). All payments previously made toward the item(s), including the initial non-refundable deposit, will also be forfeited.
Optional Payment Plan Extension
If additional time beyond the original 8-week term and subsequent three-day grace period is necessary, customers may request a Payment Plan extension. Extension requests require clear, timely communication and must receive explicit approval from LuxLoveLouis before the expiration of the grace period.
Approved extensions carry a mandatory $50 administrative fee per week, payable each Monday at the beginning of the extended week. Each weekly payment of $50 will count towards the outstanding balance. Failure to meet this weekly $50 minimum payment requirement by each specified Monday during the extension period will result in immediate forfeiture of the item(s), with all previous payments forfeited.
Liability and Risk of Loss
LuxLoveLouis LLC is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) that employs commercially reasonable measures to ensure the protection and safety of all consigned and purchased items within our care. However, customers explicitly acknowledge and agree that LuxLoveLouis does not maintain insurance coverage for pre-owned, consigned, or purchased items. Therefore, LuxLoveLouis is not responsible or liable for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of items resulting from unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters (“Acts of God”), fire, theft, burglary, vandalism, security breaches, or operational disruptions.
By entering into this Payment Plan agreement, customers clearly understand, acknowledge, and explicitly accept these limitations of liability. Customers recognize that items are secured and maintained at their own risk, and LuxLoveLouis’s financial responsibilities are strictly limited to the assets and resources available within the company.
Transaction Fees and Payment Processing
Customers may be subject to transaction fees for payments made toward their payment plan balances. These transaction fees cover secure electronic merchant processing costs and will be clearly itemized on your invoices. By initiating the Payment Plan, customers explicitly acknowledge, accept, and agree to these fees.
Consignor and Buyer Community Integrity
The non-purchase administrative fee of $100 for failed commitments to buy is designed to maintain trust, fairness, and operational integrity within the LuxLoveLouis consignor and buyer community. This fee compensates LuxLoveLouis for administrative handling, remarketing, restocking, and lost sales opportunities incurred due to failed transactions. It also protects consignors, buyers, and the LuxLoveLouis community by holding buyers accountable for their purchase commitments, thereby ensuring reliable transactions and fostering a transparent marketplace.
Policy Compliance
This Payment Plan policy fully complies with relevant South Carolina state laws and applicable federal regulations governing e-commerce and consignment practices. Customers are encouraged to thoroughly review this policy, along with the LuxLoveLouis comprehensive Terms and Conditions, to ensure complete understanding and compliance.
LuxLoveLouis LLC reserves the right to periodically review and update these policies, providing customers with clear and timely written notice of any significant changes.
