LuxLoveLouis Live Auction & Sales Policy

Auctions are conducted under the authority of Justin Bucci, South Carolina Licensed Auctioneer, License No. AUC.4956. LuxLoveLouis is an independent luxury resale and consignment business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with any designer brand.

• All bidders and live-sale buyers must be 18 years or older.
• Participation is limited to buyers located within the United States unless LuxLoveLouis expressly approves otherwise in writing.
• Placing a bid or commenting “SOLD” confirms your eligibility and agreement to these policies.

• LuxLoveLouis auctions may be conducted with reserve. Items may begin at a minimum price determined by LuxLoveLouis.
• If an item is already listed on LuxLoveLouis.com, the Consignor must coordinate with LuxLoveLouis before the item is included in a live sale, Story Auction, or auction event.
• By approving an item for a live sale or auction, Consignors acknowledge and agree to all applicable LuxLoveLouis consignment and auction terms.
• LuxLoveLouis may withdraw any item from auction or live sale at any time before being declared “SOLD” or before a winning bid is confirmed.

• Live Sales: The first valid timestamped “SOLD,” “MINE,” or similar claim comment may secure the item, subject to confirmation by LuxLoveLouis.
• Story Auctions: Bids are submitted by direct message or the stated method within the posted timeframe. Late, incomplete, or unclear bids may be declined.
• Minimum bid increments are announced per auction and must be followed.
• Platform timestamps and LuxLoveLouis internal records control bid or claim order if there is a dispute.

• Invoices are generally issued within 24 hours of auction close or live-sale confirmation.
• Invoice payment is due within 24 hours unless LuxLoveLouis states otherwise in writing.
• Accepted payment methods are stated on the invoice or approved by LuxLoveLouis at the time of sale.
• Payment plans may be available only when approved by LuxLoveLouis and are subject to the LuxLoveLouis Payment Plan Terms.
• Non-payment may result in cancellation, relisting, account restriction, or denial of future purchases.
• No buyer’s premium is charged on LuxLoveLouis auctions.

South Carolina sales tax is applied to eligible purchases shipped to a South Carolina address unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is provided. Out-of-state transactions follow applicable sales-tax rules and platform requirements.

• All live-sale and auction items are reviewed according to LuxLoveLouis’ item-level authentication process before being offered for sale.
• When applicable, LuxLoveLouis may use a trusted third-party authentication company for an additional layer of review.
• Authentication applies to the main listed item only, according to the authentication status stated in the listing, invoice, authentication report, certificate, or written documentation.
• If authentication documentation or a certificate is provided, it applies only to the item specifically identified in that documentation.
• Authentication documentation does not extend to boxes, dust bags, receipts, cards, tags, ribbons, booklets, packaging, or other inclusions unless LuxLoveLouis expressly states otherwise in writing.
• Packaging, collateral, detachable components, and inclusions shown during a live sale or auction are included only as shown and are not separately authenticated or guaranteed authentic, complete, or original to the item unless expressly stated.
• Buyers should request additional photos, condition details, measurements, or inclusion details before bidding or commenting “SOLD.” By bidding or commenting “SOLD,” the buyer accepts the item’s described and shown condition, including any disclosed packaging or inclusion limitations.

• Purchases are shipped with tracking using the carrier and service selected by LuxLoveLouis unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Signature confirmation may be required for high-value orders, payment-plan purchases, auction purchases, live-sale purchases, or other shipments at LuxLoveLouis’ discretion.
• Basic carrier insurance may be included depending on the shipping method. Additional insurance may be available upon request and at the buyer’s expense.
• Carrier delays, delivery issues, loss, theft, or damage are handled according to the applicable carrier and insurance claim process, LuxLoveLouis’ written policies, and applicable law.

All auction and live-sale purchases are final sale except where required by law or expressly provided under LuxLoveLouis’ written policies, including the Authentication Guarantee Policy.

Requests based on buyer’s remorse, fit, size, condition preferences, packaging concerns, inclusion concerns, shipping delays, or other non-authenticity-related reasons are not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund unless required by law or expressly provided under LuxLoveLouis’ written policies.

Packaging, collateral, and inclusion-related concerns alone do not qualify for a refund unless LuxLoveLouis expressly guaranteed those materials in writing.
