1. Shipping availability and charged amount
Shipping services and destinations depend on the order, item's dimensions, value, location and applicable carrier options. The shipping charge, if any, will be displayed during checkout or stated in an accepted invoice. A historical flat quote is not a guarantee that every item will ship for the same amount. Optional insurance or special handling may have separately disclosed charges.
USPS Priority Mail is commonly used, but LuxLoveLouis may select another trackable carrier or service where appropriate. No particular service is guaranteed unless named in the accepted order.
2. Ordinary processing and shipment date
For a normal purchase ready for fulfillment, LuxLoveLouis generally expects to physically tender the package to a carrier within one to three business days after receipt of a properly completed order, unless a different clear and lawful shipment window has been disclosed and accepted. Business days generally exclude weekends and carrier holidays. A label printed without carrier possession is not shipment. The legally applicable deadline and any requirement to seek buyer consent for a delay are not indefinitely postponed because the payment needs verification or has not yet settled.
USPS Priority Mail is frequently used; approximately three to five transit days may be a carrier estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. A binding date expressly promised in a sale controls and cannot be contradicted by a generic site disclaimer.
3. In-house payment plans and future release
Items reserved under the approved standard eight-week/35%-down or separately accepted subscriber ten-week/25%-down program are ordinarily held until full payment. Before the opening deposit, the buyer must receive a dated item-specific schedule stating the reservation period, any specific expected dispatch date or determinable dispatch window after completion, required full balance and lawful delay/cancellation terms. The invoice must clearly distinguish merchandise price, deposit, tax, shipping and optional charges.
The applicable shipment obligations are determined by the actual transaction and law, including any FTC requirements triggered by an accepted partial payment. The Company will obtain any required delay consent or issue a required refund rather than assume the word "layaway" provides an exception. A fulfillment promise is recorded separately from the reservation's payment deadline, and the Company will reconcile any discrepancy with the accepted agreement and applicable law.
4. Identity, address and fraud checks
The customer is responsible for entering a full and accurate name, delivery address and contact information. For a high-value or potentially fraudulent transaction, LuxLoveLouis may request appropriate payment or identity verification. The Company may decline an unsupported address-change request or cancel a transaction where the law and accepted agreement permit, with any required refund handled accordingly.
Verification should be documented and performed without unnecessary delay. A verification request cannot be used to indefinitely defer mandatory shipment or refund duties.
5. Tracking and proof of dispatch
When available, the customer will receive a tracking number or electronic confirmation once the package is processed for dispatch. Carrier-acceptance scans, shipping receipts, service level, declared value and any signature instructions form part of the fulfillment record. Tracking information may update after the label is created and the carrier physically receives the parcel.
6. Delivery estimates and signatures
Carrier transit estimates are nonbinding unless the accepted offer expressly promises arrival by a specific date. Certain orders may require signature confirmation, identification at delivery or carrier pickup. Customers should monitor tracking and coordinate with the carrier when a signature or pickup is needed. If delivery attempts fail because of an inaccessible or incorrect customer-provided address, the Company will assess redelivery and return costs under the contract and applicable law.
7. Delays and inability to fulfill
If the Company expects to miss the applicable shipment deadline, it will give the customer a timely notification with a supported revised shipment date, or explain why a firm date cannot yet be provided, and present legally required options for consenting to a delay or canceling for a prompt refund. If consent is required and not obtained, the Company will cancel and refund as applicable instead of holding funds indefinitely.
The Company will preserve the original shipment representation, order/partial payment receipt time, revised date, exact notice content, customer response and the amount and date of any refund. Where the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule applies, its prompt-refund requirements and permitted methods take priority over voluntary final-sale language. A required refund for wholly unshipped merchandise may include original shipping, insurance and other amounts tendered as the rule requires.
8. Shipping insurance and declared value
Carrier insurance is determined by the actual service purchased, shipment value, policy exclusions and carrier claim rules. Standard USPS service does not guarantee full replacement value for every luxury package. The order record will document the service, included insurance amount, any purchased supplemental coverage, price paid, exclusions made available and a safe return/claim method.
A customer may request additional available protection before shipment. Optional insurance does not eliminate a seller's delivery obligations, and refusal of optional insurance does not automatically transfer every loss to the customer. Neither a product description nor a checkout screen should imply a package is fully insured without purchase records supporting that claim.
9. Loss, theft, damage and misdelivery
A customer who believes a shipment was lost, stolen or damaged should email LuxLoveLouis@gmail.comas soon as reasonably possible with the order number, tracking and a description of the concern. Supporting photographs of packaging and contents should be preserved if damage is reported.
LuxLoveLouis will review the evidence, contact the carrier where appropriate, explain the claim process and identify the applicable contractual and legal remedy. A carrier scan, signature or geolocation record is relevant evidence but not necessarily the only evidence. Statements that LuxLoveLouis is "never responsible after carrier handoff" are not part of this revised policy.
10. Risk of loss and governing contract
Who bears the risk of accidental transit loss depends on the actual accepted transaction, whether the seller contracted for shipment or destination delivery, whether goods were properly tendered, whether the delivery conformed to contract and the law that governs. South Carolina's UCC contains different rules for shipment and destination contracts. An applicable agreement may allocate risk within lawful limits, but no generic website sentence resolves every customer non-delivery claim or payment-card right.
11. International shipments and customs
International delivery is offered only when expressly confirmed for the particular transaction. Before accepting an international order, the Company will explain any quoted carrier service and responsibility for import duties, taxes, brokerage and customs charges. Where not expressly included in the agreed price, import costs may be charged by authorities or a carrier to the recipient. No customs declared value, duty status or other trade-compliance representation may be falsified. The accepted terms and destination law control.
12. Returns and authenticity claims
General purchases are final for ordinary buyer's remorse, subject to the Refund Policy, the One-Year Authentication Guarantee and mandatory law. If LuxLoveLouis directs shipment for a covered authenticity examination, LuxLoveLouis will supply and pay for a reasonable insured, trackable domestic return label for that covered examination. The customer must follow written packing and return instructions, preserve identifying details and avoid unauthorized alterations. The Company will arrange payment for any independent reassessment it requires; customers who commission unsolicited optional opinions may bear their own expense unless a refund or reimbursement is legally required or expressly agreed.
Where an item is confirmed non-authentic within the guarantee scope, reimbursement for merchandise, attributable tax and other charges follows the Authentication Policy and law. Routine buyer's-remorse returns do not become available merely because this claim process exists.
13. Contact and related policies
For order tracking, address concerns, damage or insurance inquiries: LuxLoveLouis@gmail.com. Include the order or invoice identifier and relevant tracking details. This policy works with the Master Terms & Conditions, Refund & Final Sale Policy, Payment Plan Agreement and Authentication Policy.
